Why I like FARGO
-simple story told with detail
-for a crime movie, nothing over the top, everyday realism
-good subtle acting
-everything aout the film is full of nuance
-dark side of humanity told with humor(that ALWAYS apeals to me, which is what I like about Kubrick also - its a common thread amongst my scripts as well)
I'll agree with cash in this thread; I'm not really a Coen Bros. fan either. Of all the movies mentioned in this thread (that have been seen: Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, Fargo, Miller's Crossing, Big Lebowski, Hudsucker Proxy, Crimewave & Barton Fink), there are only 3 Coen movies that I'd ever bother watching again. Hey I've seen and liked all of them except Fargo and Intolerable Cruelty. Just curious for you that didn't like Intolerable Cruelty why?
